Reasons For Urinary Incontinence
The reasons for both the types of urinary incontinence have been given below:
Causes Of Temporary Urinary Incontinence

Urinary Tract Infection
Infection of the urinary tract can be irritating for the bladder which would automatically cause a strong urge of urinating and this might also turn into incontinence. Foul smelling urine and burning sensation felt while urinating are the common symptoms of urinary tract infection.
Constipation
Constipation might also be the cause of urinary incontinence. Rectum lies very close to the bladder sharing the same nerves. Compacted and hard stool in the rectum might turn the nerves overactive, which increases urine frequency.
Causes of Persistent Urinary Incontinence
Pregnancy
Increased weight of uterus and hormonal changes during pregnancy can be one of the most common reasons for urinary Incontinence.
Enlarged Prostate
