STD That You Could Get From Oral Sex

Many people will be in a feel like they are well-educated about sex and sexually transmitted diseases (STD) but what about the hazards of having oral sex?

1. HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)

HPV also referred to as genital warts that is developed from oral sex and is the main reason of throat cancer.

HPV appears on genitalia as hard,small usually painless white bumps. HPV is the main cause of cancer in most women.

2. Herpes

STD From Oral SexHerpes is the common STD transmitted from oral sex. We can find two types of HPV virus infection.

HSV1 forms sores around the mouth and HSV2 is responsible for causing genital sores.

HPV cannot be treated completely but using dental dams or condoms may reduce the risk of the condition and may reduce the chances of transmission.

3. Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea can be easily transmitted disease from oral sex manifesting as a genital infection and very frequently causing throat infections which are hard to treat.

Oral gonorrhea can develop sore throat, red spots, difficulty ins wallowing and yellow or white discharge.

Untreated gonorrhea can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and epididymitis mainly in men which may lead to infertility.

4. Syphilis

Syphilis is extremely sexually transmitted disease through oral sex. It is contagious only during symptomatic phases.

The symptoms are lesions on palms of hand and soles of feet, swollen lymph nodes, fever, hair loss, skin rash, sores, weight loss, headaches and exhaustion. Untreated syphilis leads to brain damage too

5. Chlamydia

The symptoms of genital infection include painful intercourse (for women), burning while urination, rectal and testicular pain and discharge from vagina or penis.
