Getting infected to breathing infections is common in children, especially who are under 5-6 years. There are many causes for breathing infections/diseases.

Few of them are very common and mild in nature which last for a week or two, others are bit dangerous and could lead to Asthma, Bronchiolitis etc.

Mild breathing infections occur at the upper level like cold, influenza, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), sinus, croup and the lower level infections like Asthma, Bronchiolitis and Pneumonia are bit dangerous if not treated on time.

Common Cold

Common cold is caused by different viruses which scale around 200. This is kind of communicable disease and children should avoid contacting with who are infected.

Infected children can suffer from running nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, slight head-ache symptoms. If child possess body pains, fever, vomiting apart from common cold, then it is called influenza also known as flu.
