Packaged Foods Health Hazards

Trans-fats is present in crispy crackers, French fries, microwave popcorns, and muffins. This is not good for our heart as they boost the levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and decrease good cholesterol (HDL).

Sodium Nitrate

Sodium nitrate is added to packed fast food, meat and snacks. This converts into nitrosamines while cooking and becomes carcinogenic!

Food Color

Food coloring can be found in candies, ice-creams and cereals. These additives are of no nutritional value and are potentially carcinogenic leading to diarrhea, constipation, indigestion and rashes.
